FAQs
Do I need any experience?
Not at all! Every workshop is designed for beginners (with wiggle room if you’re more advanced). I’ll walk you through step by step, so you’ll leave with something you’re proud of—even if the last thing you made was in kindergarten art class.
What’s included in the workshop?
Everything you need: supplies, tools, and instruction. Just show up ready to have fun. If it’s a private workshop, I even handle setup and cleanup—so you can focus on being the host-with-the-most.
How many people can join?
For my public ticketed workshops, spots are limited by what the venue can accommodate. Private workshops start at 6 guests, but I can scale up depending on your space and project.
Where do workshops take place?
Public ticketed workshops pop up at different venues around Central Florida, usually once a month (think cafés, breweries, bookshops). For private workshops, I come to you—your living room, backyard, office, or wherever you want to gather. Need help finding a private venue? I can help with that, too.
How long is a workshop?
Most workshops run about 2 hours, though some can be shortened if need be. That gives us plenty of time to learn, create, and admire everyone’s masterpieces—without rushing.
What kinds of projects do you offer?
All sorts! Past workshops have included painting, macramé, floral arranging, tie-dye, and more. I like to keep things fresh, so projects rotate. You can see a range of options on my private workshops page. Got an idea? Let’s chat about making it happen for your group.
Do you travel for private workshops?
Yes! While most events are in the greater Orlando area, I’ve also taught in California, New York, North Carolina, and beyond. If you’re outside Central Florida, reach out and we’ll figure out what’s possible.
How much do your workshops cost?
Public ticketed workshops are can range from $35-75 per person, depending on the project. Private workshops are similarly priced per person, plus a possible travel fee depending on location. Hosting? Ask about special host perks for larger parties.
What’s your cancellation/refund policy?
Life happens—I get it. If you can’t make a ticketed workshop, tickets are usually nonrefundable but can sometimes be transferred to a friend. For private events, we’ll set clear terms when booking.
Are kids welcome?
Some workshops are kid-friendly, others are better for adults (usually when sharp tools or particularly messy supplies are involved). If you’re looking for a family- or kid-friendly project, just ask!
